LITTLE LONDON BED & BREAKFAST – ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

We welcome everyone at Little London. Due to the layout of the house which is also our home, we are unable to provide a downstairs bedroom or to accommodate guests who are unable to manage stairs.

HOUSE LAYOUT

There is ample parking as you enter the driveway on the left hand side. You may drive up to the front door to drop off but you will need to reverse back down to park. The driveway is gravel and therefore slightly uneven.

There is a single step into the porch with a boot rack and seat.Little London is on three levels; ground first and second floors. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor and is level throughout. There are no toilet facilities on the ground floor.

The staircase to the first floor is a straight flight of 13 steps with a handrail on the left hand side. Riverside Room is located on this floor.

There is a second flight of 12 steps to the second floor where Treetops Room is located. It has a turn in the staircase and a handrail on the left hand side.

ASSISTANCE DOGS AND OTHER PETS

We welcome certified assistance dogs.
We have a pet dog of our own. She is not permitted in any of the areas/rooms used by guests and is not in the kitchen area when cooking. However, she does have access to the rest of the house, so our property would not be suitable for anyone with a severe dog allergy.
We do not have any other pets or livestock.

BEDROOMS

Guest information folders and menus are available in large print on request.
Cordless kettles and Nespresso coffee machines are available in both rooms.
The bedrooms are lockable with a key.
There is a fridge in each room with fresh cow’s semi skimmed milk provided daily. We are happy to supply oat milk as a daily free alternative.
The televisions in the room are flat screen and have Freesat.
Each bedroom has a ceiling light, bedside and reading lights and USB’s on either side of the bed.
The duvets and pillows are made with a synthetic filling so are suitable for people with allergies. Both rooms have large En-suite bathrooms. There are no handrails. Each room has a separate walk in shower and bath.
Heating is thermostatically controlled and adjustable in both guest bedrooms.
Each room is supplied with a well stocked beverage tray.
There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in each room.

OTHER INFORMATION

There is free WIFI throughout the house.
There is no coverage for EE network within the house.
People with nut allergies should be aware that WE DO USE NUTS in the kitchen.
We do not have a license for alcohol but we are happy for you to bring your own. There are wine glasses and champagne flutes in each room, an ice bucket is available on request!

Please feel free to use the garden area at the front of the house only, all other areas are private. There is no access to the river from our property.

RIVERS EDGE

RIVER’S EDGE – ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

We welcome everyone at Little London. Due to layout of the pod we are unable to accommodate guests who are unable to manage steps.

GLAMPING POD LAYOUT
The pod is on a single level but has three decked steps up to the pod itself. The inside of the pod is level throughout.
The pod is sited on a gravel base so is slightly uneven. There is parking for guests immediately outside the small enclosed courtyard garden for your use only during your stay.
There is a covered deck area at the top of the steps. Through the front door there is a living/kitchen area and at the rear of the pod is a double bed. The bathroom is also at the rear of the pod and has an enclosed shower cubicle, toilet and sink with storage. There is a shaver socket in the bathroom.

ASSISTANCE DOGS AND OTHER PETS

We welcome certified assistance dogs.
We have a pet dog of our own. She is not permitted in the pod area. We do not have any other livestock or pets.

BEDROOM AREA
A double bed is fitted wall to wall at the rear of the pod and has no side access. There are small wooden shelves either side of the bed with bedside lights and USB’s on both sides of the bed. A shelf is also above the foot of the bed.There is a window behind the bed with a blackout blind. The TV can be viewed from the bed.

BATHROOM AREA
The bathroom has an enclosed small shower cubicle and a toilet. There are no handrails.There is a full sized sink with cupboard space below. There is a shaver socket and a heated towel rail.

LIVING/KITCHEN AREA
The kitchen area has a two ring electric hob and a microwave oven below. There is a fridge with a small ice box at the top. There is also a kettle toaster and Nespresso machine and a well stocked beverage tray. There are two bar stools below the breakfast bar area.
The living area has a TV, WiFi, two seater sofa and a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

OTHER INFORMATION
There is WIFI available in the pod. There is a large lawned area immediately behind the pod. You There is no access for guests to the river or to our private gardens.
